Mangum's PuttingZone Newsletter
Bid to caddy for a PGA Tour player in a practice round, and all the funds go to charity! Caddyforacure.com has been founded by Bernhard Langer's longtime caddy Russ Holden. A win-win that the PZ heartily supports. The PuttingZone -- combining the best of over 100 years of putting lore with modern neuroscience for targeting and movement processes on the green for an integrated and instinctive system of reading putts, aiming the putter, stroking the ball straight where aimed, and controlling the distance that captures the common fundamentals of the top flatstick artists in the game and is the best putting instruction in golf history. I. PuttingZone Passes 2 Million Visits MarkAt then end of July, the PuttingZone.com website passed the 2 Millionth visit mark! The visitors to the PuttingZone have made it the hands-down number 1 website in the world for putting instruction, with over 100,000 people visiting monthly from 50+ countries around the globe. With over 500 pages of resources-packed information for putting, and all corralled and simplified in the four-skills approach, the PuttingZone.com has earned the top spot in the Search Engines for putting for the past five years. Content is indeed king, and substance wins over appearances every time. II. PZ now includes a Bookstore and Pro ShopThis past week, the PuttingZone website has gained a Bookstore and a Pro Shop offering the putting- and golf-related products available at Amazon.com as an affiliate. The Bookstore is also a learning room in which nearly all of the current and former books, tapes, and DVDs on putting are collected and made available to all interested golfers. The "old and out of print" collection arranges the putting instruction books in chronological order, and this is a real education in the historical development of putting instruction and skill. The Pro Shop collects up all the putting training aids in one place, with a collection that exceeds almost all other online operations. The PuttingZone is rapidly becoming the NEXUS for all-things putting -- whether that is coaching, teaching and learning, putters, training aids, knowledge, companies, science, or just golfing people. In the future, we hope to convert this into a REAL store with the best putting-related resources and products in the world. In the meantime, if you're going to buy something golf-related from Amazon.com, how about throwing the PZ a bone to help sustain the effort! And thanks for your consideration. III. PZ Goes YouTube!
The PuttingZone has established a video "channel" on YouTube for interesting putting and putting instruction videos. If you or your school or company has a video that might be interesting to golfers focused upon putting - whether performance, instructional, or product related -- let me know about it and perhaps we will include it in the channel. Email me at geoff@puttingzone.com with the heading "Channel." The PuttingZone is a growing community of the woprld's best coaches for putting, and we invite the participation of all inetersted parties. Visit the PZ Channel on YouTube and hit the orange SUBSCRIBE button so you can keep up! New
