Steve Chapman, veteran player and golf teacher at OntarioÕs
RattleSnake
Point Golf Club
Working
with Geoff Mangum and Bruce Howard of the PuttingZone
Academy Ontario Canada at his course in Milton,
Ontario, Steve underwent intensive training in ÒWhat
to Teach for Putting SuccessÓ and ÒHow to Teach and
Market Putting Services for Professional SuccessÓ. Chapman
joins an elite group of 38 golf coaches in 13 countries
who have completed this PuttingZone
Certification Program in the past three years, and
the growth is accelerating. PuttingZone
Coaches are specialist teachers who go beyond conventional
swing teaching to address this often-neglected half
of the game by offering the best, most advanced putting
instruction in golf. Ordinarily, putting instruction
is limited to ÒstrokeÓ.
In contrast, PuttingZone instruction combines
the top techniques for putting with recent neuroscience
for targeting perception and stroke movement processes,
in an instinctive, integrated system of all four putting
skills Ð reading putts for target, aiming the putter
and body at the target, stroking where the putter aims,
and controlling distance and delivery speed. As part
of a worldwide community of teachers and students focused
on putting, PuttingZone Coaches both contribute to and
benefit from the collective synergy and experience in
this vibrant and energetic worldwide network. Golf instructors
interested in becoming certified PuttingZone Coaches
may receive the required training in exchange for sponsoring
a PuttingZone Clinic at their facility in lieu of the
training fee Ð a win-win deal for all concerned. For
more information including a detailed description of
the training and benefits, visit this PuttingZone
Certification Program webpage or contact Geoff Mangum
at (336) 340-9079 or geoff@puttingzone.com. ### About
